Suffering

This teaching has helped me meet suffering not with fear or resistance, but with a kind of quiet reverence. In Tibetan Buddhism, pain isn't punishment—it's purification. It’s the deep sweep of unseen forces, clearing lifetimes of residue from the heart.

When things fall apart in my life, I try (sometimes messily) to bow to the experience, even while I’m crying or confused. The discomfort, the setbacks, even the emotional weight—they’re not signs that I’m failing, they’re signs that something is being released. Transformed.

This quote reminds me to keep walking. To keep breathing. To trust the broom, even when the sweeping feels too loud.
